Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Keri’s childhood dream was to become a graduate of USC; she achieved that goal by obtaining her Master’s degree in Social Work in August of 2019. Since graduating, she has utilized her skills and education to facilitate support groups and provide psychotherapy to aid folks in their healing journeys. As an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Keri’s focus areas are Intergenerational Trauma, Chronic Illness/Pain, Anxiety, Depression and Organizing. Keri has a relational approach to therapy and is trained in the Gestalt, Trauma Resilience Model, and Brainspotting to support children, adolescents, transitional aged youth, and adults. When Keri is not supporting the community at large, individually and/or collectively, you may see her cheering on her favorite sports team, attending concerts, traveling, and dining at her favorite eateries.
Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Southern California that embarked on my career as a therapist starting in 2018. Since then, I\'ve graduated from the University of Southern California in August of 2019 and have extensive training in Gestalt & Relational Therapy. I have also been trained to practice somatic modalities of Trauma Resilience Model and Brainspotting, which has prepared me to facilitate therapy groups that address trauma through teaching the importance of self-care.
