Shaunic Stanford
Biography
Shaunic completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University in 2011. She has a diverse breadth of professional experience in physical therapy. She began in the inpatient rehabilitation setting, working with a wide range of neurological disorders. Later, she became the lead physical therapist in the ICU at a level 1 trauma center, contributing to an early mobility program. Her journey then led her to become a traveling physical therapist, and her time in orthopedic outpatient therapy is where her interest in women\'s health emerged and deepened after the birth of her son. She completed pelvic floor coursework through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She advocates for a holistic and individualized approach to treatment. She is a certified Reiki practitioner, a skill she frequently integrates into therapy sessions. Outside of the clinic, Shaunic is creative with screenwriting. She loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her family.
