I am committed to providing care that is easily accessible to populations that are underserved. Individuals can be seen virtually, in-person or telephonically. I work diligently to create an environment where individuals feel welcomed and respected. I work collaboratively with those seeking services, so that they are involved with the decision making process with regard to their behavioral health needs.
Biography
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing counseling services for adults, couples and families. I provide specialized services in the treamtnet of trauma and I have extensive experience in working with families on a variety of parenting issues. I have worked with adoptive, foster, blended families and families going through divorce. I have also worked with the unique challenges created by caring for an aging parent.
Experience
I have been a fully licensed cllinician for over 20 years. I began my career in Public Child Welfare with the County of San Bernardino, CA. I have provided pre-service and ongoing training for foster and adoptive parents. I have also co-facilitated co-parenting groups for divorced and separated parents. I currently work with individuals, couples and families to identify how past traumas are impacting their current relationships and how they navigate through the world.
Education
I received a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and later received a Master\'s in Social Welfare from UCLA in 1996.
