Biography
Welcome! My name is DaRell Murray, and I am a Black male therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, children, and adolescents, ranging from ages 5 to 75. I am passionate about creating a culturally competent and inclusive environment with a mission to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health services within the BIPOC community.
Experience
I specialize in helping clients navigate challenges such as relationship and couples’ issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Conduct Disorder, trauma, and grief. My therapeutic approach includes evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Brainspotting, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Education
I’m a husband and father, with six years of experience providing community mental health services in California’s Central Valley. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling—both earned at Fresno State.
